The council voted to sell the property.

Dear friends, the Northport City Council voted tonight to allow Beeker to accept proposals for the property that the community center sits on. They agreed to allow them to sell it for 1.1 million.

We are not going to sit back and be quiet about this. We are going to fight this and we need each and every one of you to attend the council meetings, write to the council and talk to the media about how this upsets and affects you. Please get your friends to sign this petition and we need as many Northport citizens to sign it as possible.

Please be respectful, but firm, in your letters to the council and in your posts.
