Save the North Atlantic Right Whales

Save the North Atlantic Right Whales
The Issue
The North Atlantic Right Whale is one of the most endangered species as of today, with less than 340 remaining in their population. There are actively little to no petitions to protect them, and the Biden Administration refuses to grant them protection or refuge. No Right Whale loses its life to natural causes, all of them die with the main leading cause of vessel strikes and getting caught in fishing gear and ropes. There are so few left that researchers have assigned each of them names, and family groups. As of 2024, less than 10 newborns have been produced, and as of today, one has already been slaughtered. This species has been hunted for over a century, whalers deemed them to be the “right” whales to hunt due to their slow swimming, and the way their bodies float after being killed. The Right Whales need YOUR help, and we need to act fast. With such a small birth rate versus how many of them are killed or severely injured per year, they do not have long left. They are not the ‘Right’ whales to go extinct. Sign the petition today to help save them.
