Thank you once again for all of your support in sharing news of the Swadlincote Incinerator. We're also really grateful to everyone who sent us feedback and evidence to strengthen our objections document. 

The Planning Inspectorate's Appeals portal will close for representations tomorrow (10th) if you are still to make a representation. Support on doing this, including links to the Planning Inspectorate portal can be found here: https://traceywond.wixstudio.com/incineratesd/appeal

If you have links to local businesses, particularly leisure and visitor-based ones then do see if they're aware as this development might cause a literal 'stink' for them, and would seem to go against the visitor economy emphasis that South Derbyshire seems to have in their current and draft local plans. 

We've found the Planning Inspectorate portal a little intermittent this evening but if problems persist do ensure you screenshot this as it should help, should you need to justify it going in a little later.
