
Thank you to everyone who has completed this petition. We are almost at 600 signatures and it will be filed officially tomorrow (10th) with the close of the application comment process.
The petition will still run after this so that signatures can be collected to aid any future appeal that we may need to respond to.
A lot of people have told us that the documents on the Planning Application are long and technical and hard for a normal person to fully appreciate. We agree! There’s been a network of concerned locals chipping in to explore this including people who are very used to long complex documents - trained solicitors, copywriters, researchers etc - and we have struggled! It’s taken a lot of time out of work and family life to distil the information, let alone trying to make sense of it in terms of relevant planning policies, frameworks, legal cases and other considerations.
