I’m delighted to share that in line with the Post Office's aim to refresh their network and meet customer needs, a new Post Office branch will be opening in Milton Keynes later this year. It will be based at Hobbycraft, Central Retail Park, Patriot Drive, Rooksley, Milton Keynes, MK13 8PU, opening its doors on Thursday 20th of November 2025, at 1pm.

This will be a local style branch, with a modern, low-screened, open-plan service point built into the Hobbycraft retail counter. This means you’ll be able to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside your regular shopping.

The new branch will benefit from extended opening hours, matching Hobbycraft’s retail hours - making it much easier for customers to access Post Office services at a time that suits them.

This is a real win for the Milton Keynes community - not only have we successfully saved our main Post Office branch, we will also soon benefit from a brand new branch in Rooksley. Together, these branches will make Post Office services more accessible, convenient, and resilient for residents and local businesses.

Please note that if there are any unforeseen changes that will affect the planned opening date, posters will be displayed in store to let customers know.
