We’ve collected nearly 20,000 signatures and are urging Monterey Bay Aquarium to reconsider their Red List decision based on science and impact to the small business owners in Maine, who make up this iconic and beloved industry. What’s next?

We are continuing to ask for support as we approach the annual celebration of National Lobster Day (Sept. 25). This year, we’re redoubling our efforts to educate consumers on the fishery and making it easy for them to show their support by enjoying Maine Lobster.

• Celebrate Maine Lobster Week. September 19-25 is Maine Lobster Week—featuring partner restaurants and suppliers who ship Maine Lobster nationwide with special offers on all things Maine Lobster. Find a Maine restaurant, or restaurant in your state, and enjoy Maine Lobster this week.
   
• Buy Maine Lobster. Explore LobsterfromMaine.com to find a directory of trusted suppliers of sustainable Maine Lobster available to be shipped fresh or frozen directly to your doorstep, anywhere in the U.S.
  
  
• Watch & Share the Sustainability at Work Video Series. Featuring lobstermen and their families, marine biologists and scientists — learn about all the ways the Maine Lobster fishery protects not only the lobster population, but the marine environment — including efforts to protect right whales.
  
  
• Contribute Directly to the Industry. Donations to support the continued fight to preserve the Maine Lobster industry can be made to SaveMaineLobstermen.org — an effort managed by the Maine Lobstermen’s Association.
