Please read and share today’s front-page article in the San Mateo Daily Journal! Legal threat in push to rescue Mickelson pool in San Mateo
We have signed a letter of agreement with prominent trial attorney Joseph W. Cotchett. He will be representing us pro bono in our efforts to persuade Sutter Health to repair and reopen the Mickelson therapy pool.
Letter from Attorney Cotchett to Peninsula Health Care District (PHCD)
Last Thursday, a demand letter with supporting documents was hand-delivered to PHCD at their regular Board of Directors meeting. This letter revealed the misrepresentations that Sutter Health has been making about their reasons for the permanent closure of the Mickelson therapy pool. We requested that PHCD continue to exert all necessary pressure on Sutter representatives to repair and reopen our vital community resource. We will post this letter soon on change.org.
Warm Water Wellness Inc
We have endeavored to create a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation with the purpose of providing the community with aquatic therapy resources. Upon approval from the IRS, we will be able to receive tax-deductible donations in support of our mission.
