STOMPers have been busy continuing our outreach to local public agencies. We had great turnouts at the recent Peninsula Health Care District and Sequoia Healthcare District Board meetings. Many advocates spoke eloquently and passionately—sharing emotional, personal stories of how the Mickelson therapy pool closure has detrimentally impacted their physical and mental health. Other STOMPers spoke assertively requesting that the two Boards encourage Sutter Health to reopen the Mickelson therapy pool.
