Together, we are now over 6,000 strong, standing together for new parkland in Box Hill!

The Suburban Rail Loop Authority will soon release its draft structure plan for Box Hill. This plan will shape the future of our community, and we must ensure that green space is a priority.

The Authority has said that the Box Hill Brickworks site is an important location and could be used for passive open space, housing, or both. 

Environmental assessments indicate that much of the site, particularly the former quarry and landfill area, will only ever be suitable for passive open space and informal recreation.

We, like you, see an incredible opportunity to create a vibrant, green community space in the heart of Box Hill. Let’s keep up the momentum!
