The Issue

I am reaching out as a concerned taxpayer in India who is increasingly frustrated by the way government facilities are allocated. It is disheartening to witness our hard-earned tax money being spent on individuals who may not be making an effort to become self-reliant. As someone who diligently contributes to the country's revenue, I see a dire need for the government to reevaluate its distribution of resources and benefits.

Currently, an overwhelming amount of government expenditures are directed towards families with more than two children, particularly those taking advantage of benefits targeting economically weaker sections. Programs like free hospitalization, free housing, and subsidized food are vital, but they must be provided judiciously to ensure they serve their intended purpose - to uplift and empower genuinely needy citizens rather than become a crutch for those not striving towards economic independence.

Additionally, the existing tax structure burdens the small percentage of Indians who pay income taxes, approximately 8%. By removing direct taxation for income taxpayers, and instead shifting resources to improve facilities and provide actual benefits for this contributor segment, it will create a fairer, more equitable system.

Revising these policies would not only help reduce unnecessary government expenditure but also motivate people to limit family sizes, alleviating pressure on public resources and promoting more sustainable living standards. Furthermore, it would prioritize the well-being and contributions of taxpaying citizens, who lack fair access to benefits such as government-supported housing or medical facilities. Our tax money should create a prosperous society, not perpetuate dependency.

Let us urge the Indian government to reconsider its approach. Limiting government benefits to families with more than two children and providing tangible relief to taxpayers can create a balanced and just economy. Stand with me in demanding responsible allocation of resources and the development of policies that truly support all members of society. Please sign this petition to advocate for a fair and sustainable future in India.
