Official confirmation this week, as Adnams unburden themselves of The Half Moon, and formally sell the property to Clearfast Ltd.

The immediate intentions of the Felixstowe-based shipping firm remain uncertain in regards to the building. A likely investment of sorts, it is bound to be some time until we learn of what The Half Moon's future may look like under the new owners.

There has been no information shared regarding any conditions of the sale by Adnams. Though given their need to sell under ongoing financial stresses, it seems unlikely that restrictions upon usage or redevelopment would have been placed upon the sale by the Suffolk brewery.

For now, little has changed, and all we can continue to do is share the petition and be organised to act should any request for redevelopment or demolition be proposed for The Half Moon.
