We are members and family members of the Type 1 diabetes community who rely on continuous glucose monitoring to stay safe and healthy every day. For many of us, the Dexcom G6 has been a dependable and trusted device that allows us to manage our blood sugar with confidence. After trying the Dexcom G7, many of us have experienced issues with reliability and accuracy which then creates unnecessary added stress and risk. Because diabetes management is not one-size-fits-all, removing the G6 would take away a reliable tool that MANY of us depend on for our well-being. We respectfully urge Dexcom to continue manufacturing and support of the Dexcom G6 so patients can continue using the technology that works best for their health and safety.
