Hi everyone.
On September 2nd I sent an email to the MP for Blackpool North and Fleetwood Lorraine Beavers asking what efforts could be made to save the Ferry service and what contact she has had with Wyre and Lancashire Council and even if the matter could be escalated to be discussed with the Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander MP or even the Prime Minister. I did get an automatic email reply so it did reach her inbox.
I understand that as the summer recess finished and her party conference etc I can imagine she has maybe been busy and I will try and make contact again with her again. The reason I decided to reach out is because she along with Cat Smith MP for Lancaster and Wyre have raised her concerns of the Ferry's future in this past and therefore that's why I have tried to reach out to her. However I am deeply concerned that time is running out and this is a serious local issue that needs the support from its Members of Parliament. Fleetwood has lost too much and can't afford to lose this.
In the meantime please keep using the Ferry and sharing the petition.
