Considering this petition has gained a lot of momentum, and a bit of attention. I will be using it as a platform for people to voice their opinions, thoughts, and concerns for this project.  This will allow the public to respond virtually on one platform, providing Transparency and clarity to both the Town Representatives and the residents.  Please use this platform respectfully, with the mission of saving this baseball field, as well as the other fields in this town.  I think a virtual platform for these types of issues is necessary, especially since the meeting to discuss propositions for this project is at 4:30 in the afternoon, on January 31st..not a conducive time for most people I know, especially people with young children. Perhaps an in person meeting could be rescheduled to accommodate the masses, allowing for more people to discuss their opinions in person..  I have been told that the town does not plan to remove this ballfield, yet I do not see a ballfield drawn on the site plan that they are proposing…so, i took the liberty of superimposing a possibility for the ballfield to stay on the property, as well as provide the extra parking we were told that we are in need of.  If we can use this platform as an opportunity to inform the community, & to let the town hear our voices and ideas, perhaps we can collectively plan, fund, and improve all of the fields in this town…but, especially this one.
