Next week we are on "egg watch" as we near the 35th day that our Eagles, Glen and Piper have been incubating their eggs.

Our guess is that Valentine's Day should be the big day. But Eagles being Eagles they might go 40 days or decide to make an early appearance on the 12th or 13th.

We will keep you posted as the week unfolds.

This will also mark one year since we began our effort to prevent the destruction of part of our Eagles' native habitat the Rea Road Gillespie Property.

Our online petition change.org/savepiperglen asking Charlotte City Council to deny the rezoning request has now collected 18,650 signatures.

We expect to reach 20,000 before this rezoning request comes before Charlotte City Council on March 18th. Your support is critical and always appreciated.

Also a heartfelt Thank You to Emilie Knight for the amazing photo of our triplet Eagle Babies from 3 years ago.

Hope you have a great weekend. Soar High!
