le vacanze sono finite e oggi abbiamo grandi notizie da darvi e vorremmo informarvi sui progressi della nostra iniziativa per la protezione del Gruppo del Sassolungo, compresi Piani di Cunfin e Città dei sassi.
Nel 2023, il gruppo Nosc Cunfin ha tenuto numerosi incontri con biologi, esperti ambientali, associazioni, politici locali e regionali, organizzazioni turistiche e serate di discussione pubblica in varie comunità. Tutto questo è stato organizzato dai volontari del gruppo Nosc Cunfin con il continuo supporto di varie associazioni ambientaliste.
Grazie alla continua presenza sui media, all'iniziativa delle nostre organizzazioni di supporto e, soprattutto, al vostro sostegno nel condividere e firmare la petizione, abbiamo raccolto l'incredibile cifra di 65.000 firme in poco meno di 4 mesi. Il nostro obiettivo di 50.000 firme è stato quindi nettamente superato e per questo vi ringraziamo di cuore. Vorremmo anche ringraziare la piattaforma change.org e chiedere loro di continuare a promuovere questa iniziativa al massimo possibile. Allo stesso tempo, vi chiediamo di non mollare, perché ogni firma conta. Purtroppo, i gestori degli impianti di risalita, gli investitori e alcuni politici locali stanno ancora progettando la costruzione di nuovi collegamenti di risalita nell'area intorno al Gruppo Sassolungo.
Situazione attuale: il governo provinciale ha incaricato l'amministrazione comunale di formare un gruppo di lavoro per esaminare un possibile collegamento ai margini del Gruppo del Sassolungo e discutere i pro e i contro. Purtroppo questo gruppo di lavoro è tutt'altro che equilibrato, in quanto circa l'70% dei partecipanti al gruppo di lavoro è ovviamente favorevole a questo collegamento, tra cui politici locali favorevoli, rappresentanti del turismo e del marketing, investitori nell'impianto di risalita e altri. Solo 3 persone in questo gruppo assumono una posizione critica nei confronti di questo collegamento, e anche in questo caso un comune decisore non vuole che la persona che rappresenta il gruppo Nosc Cunfin partecipi. Ciò significa che solo 2 oppositori di questi controversi progetti di sviluppo potrebbero essere rappresentati. Tutto questo nonostante il fatto che un sondaggio tra i cittadini condotto dal gruppo Nosc Cunfin nel 2022, a cui hanno partecipato 1403 persone, abbia mostrato che quasi l'80% ha votato contro un nuovo collegamento. Il gruppo di lavoro non è affatto equilibrato, ma piuttosto uno strumento per portare avanti rapidamente lo sviluppo e noi non lo sopporteremo!
Cosa succederà ora?
- Una conferenza stampa e la consegna pubblica delle firme raccolte.
- Ulteriori incontri con i politici regionali.
- Contattare il Consiglio europeo dell'ambiente.
- Si stanno pianificando altre cose che non sono ancora state rese note.

Liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer,
die Feiertage sind vorbei und heute dürfen wir euch großartige Neuigkeiten bringen und möchten euch über die Fortschritte unserer Initiative zum Schutz der Langkofelgruppe, inklusive Cunfinböden und Steinerne Stadt, informieren.
Im Jahr 2023 fanden zahlreiche Treffen der Gruppe Nosc Cunfin mit Biolog*innen, Umweltexpert*innen, Vereinen, lokalen- und Landespolitiker*innen, Tourismusorganisationen sowie öffentlichen Diskussionsabenden in verschiedenen Gemeinden statt. All dies wurde von engagierten Ehrenamtlichen der Gruppe Nosc Cunfin organisiert mit der fortführenden Unterstützung diverser Umweltvereine.
Dank der kontinuierlichen medialen Präsenz, der Initiative unserer unterstützenden Vereine und vor allem durch eure Unterstützung beim Teilen und Unterzeichnen der Petition, haben wir in knapp 4 Monaten mehr als unglaubliche 65.000 Unterschriften gesammelt. Unser Ziel von 50.000 Unterschriften wurde somit deutlich übertroffen, und wir möchten euch herzlich dafür danken. Hier auch ein Dankeschön an die Plattform change.org mit der Bitte diese Initiative weiterhin massiv zu promoten. Wir bitten euch gleichzeitig, nicht nachzulassen, denn jede Unterschrift zählt. Leider bestehen weiterhin Pläne von Liftbetreiber*innen, Investor*innen und einigen Gemeindepolitiker*innen, die Verbauung des Gebietes um die Langkofelgruppe mit neuen Liftverbindungen durchzusetzen.
Aktueller Stand: Die Landesregierung hat der Gemeinderegierung den Auftrag erteilt, eine Arbeitsgruppe zu bilden, um eine mögliche Verbindung am Rande der Langkofelgruppe zu prüfen, sowie vor- und Nachteile zu besprechen. Leider ist diese Arbeitsgruppe alles andere als ausgewogen, da ca. 70% der Teilnehmer*innen an der Arbeitsgruppe offensichtliche Befürworter dieser Verbindung sind, darunter befürwortende Gemeindepolitikerinnen, Tourismus- und Marketingvertreter*innen, Investor*innen der Liftanlage, und andere. Lediglich 3 Personen in dieser Gruppe nehmen eine kritische Position gegen eine solche Verbindung, und selbst hier möchte eine entscheidungstragende Gemeinde, die Vertretende Person von der Gruppe Nosc Cunfin nicht teilnehmen lassen. Das bedeutet, dass nur 2 Gegner dieser umstrittenen Bebauungsprojekte vertreten sein könnten. Das alles, obwohl eine im Jahr 2022 von der Gruppe Nosc Cunfin durchgeführte Bürger*innen Umfrage, bei der 1403 Personen teilnahmen, knapp 80% gegen eine neue Verbindung stimmten. Die Arbeitsgruppe ist keineswegs ausgewogen, sondern eher ein Instrument, um die Verbauung schnell voranzutreiben und das lassen wir uns nicht bieten!
Was steht als nächstes an:
Eine Pressekonferenz und die öffentliche Übergabe der gesammelten Unterschriften.
- Weitere Treffen mit Landespolitiker*innen.
- Die Kontaktaufnahme mit dem europäischen Rat für Umwelt.
- Weiteres ist in Planung, das noch unter Verschluss bleibt.

Dear supporters,
The holidays are over and today we have great news to bring you and would like to inform you about the progress of our initiative to protect the Sassolungo Group, including Cunfinböden and the Stone City.
In 2023, the Nosc Cunfin group held numerous meetings with biologists, environmental experts, associations, local and regional politicians, tourism organisations and public discussion evenings in various communities. All of this was organised by dedicated volunteers from the Nosc Cunfin group with the continued support of various environmental associations.
Thanks to the continuous media presence, the initiative of our supporting organisations and, above all, your support in sharing and signing the petition, we have collected more than an incredible 65,000 signatures in just under 4 months. Our target of 50,000 signatures was therefore clearly exceeded and we would like to thank you very much for this. We would also like to thank the change.org platform and ask them to continue to promote this initiative on a massive scale. At the same time, we ask you not to let up, because every signature counts. Unfortunately, lift operators, investors and some local politicians are still planning to build new lift connections in the area around the Sassolungo Group.
Current status: The provincial government has commissioned the municipal government to form a working group to examine a possible connection on the edge of the Sassolungo Group and to discuss the pros and cons. Unfortunately, this working group is anything but balanced, as around 70% of the participants in the working group are obviously in favour of this connection, including local politicians in favour, tourism and marketing representatives, investors in the lift system and others. Only 3 people in this group take a critical position against such a connection, and even here a decision-maker municipality does not want the person representing the Nosc Cunfin group to participate. This means that only 2 opponents of these controversial development projects could be represented. All this despite the fact that a citizens' survey conducted by the Nosc Cunfin group in 2022, in which 1403 people took part, showed that almost 80% voted against a new connection. The working group is by no means balanced, but rather an instrument to push ahead with the development quickly and we won't stand for it!
What's next?
- A press conference and the public handover of the collected signatures.
- Further meetings with regional politicians.
- Contacting the European Environment Council.
- Other things are being planned that are still under wraps.
