Ai has become a prominent feature in schools all around the world limiting the long-term memory, critical thinking, and ownership of work among young people.        I want to change the educational systems veiw on ai.

According to the unu by 2030 ai data centers are predicted to use roughly twice the amount of energy France did in 2025, take up the same amount of land 32 million people live on, and to offset the carbon footprint 6.7 billion trees would have to be planted.

The over usage of ai in schools shows younger generations its acceptable to exploit the tool leading to these figures growing, by promoting the sustainable usage within schools we will gain a better grasp on this currently unregulated environmental and economical issue.

One place I see Ai changing my school is the posters. Before they would be poorly drawn pictures with personality, now it's Ai slop covering everywall. I believe this takes away a creative outlet from students and also takes from the school environment, invalidating the artistic students that take pride in showcasing their work in their school.

The exploitation of Ai by teachers to create notes that are incorrect is also a major issue in my school and many others, ai is unable to quote texts yet teachers use ai to gather quotes for students to learn. I can understand teachers using ai as a tool to condense notes making them more digestible, but the waste of using ai to create unusable incorrect notes is unacceptable.
