We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to ACT NOW by allowing us to use a city park or parking-lot in order to SAVE the NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair. These vibrant community events are not only a source of cultural enrichment and economic activity, but also serve as a vital social-hub for the City of Coeur d’Alene.

The monthly summer NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair has become an integral part of our community's identity, bringing together hundreds of people from all walks of life (residents & tourists alike) to share experiences, celebrate diversity, create friendships, and support local businesses. Unfortunately, our current venue has changed ownership and we are now faced with the challenge of finding a NEW LOCATION to host NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair. Without a new location secured soon, we risk losing this cherished tradition that has become an important part of WHO WE ARE as a community.

We call upon city officials and stakeholders in Coeur d'Alene to help us find a new home for the monthly summer NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair by allowing us to utilize the city parks or parking systems.

Preserving the NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair is not only a matter of cultural preservation but also an issue of social justice and economic equity.
