The Issue

The Children’s Hospice Grant helps Acorns Children's Hospice deliver vital care, but its future is under threat.

Without the Grant, we'll be unable to deliver the essential services hundreds of local families rely on. There’s a real risk that for the first time in our charity's 36-year history, we'll be forced to turn away a child in need, due to lack of funding.

We're urgently calling on the government to protect and maintain this crucial funding so we can continue providing the care that local families can’t live without.

The Grant is under threat at a time when demand for Acorns is higher than ever. More and more families are coming to us for care and compassion they can't find anywhere else. In fact, in the past year - demand for our end-life-care service has increased by 47% and after-death bereavement care has doubled.

The time to act is now. We must convince the Government to prioritise vital children's hospice funding. It's about safeguarding the future of our children, our families, and our community.

Please, stand with us and sign the petition, before it's too late.

Thank you so much for your support
