Hi everyone,

We're nearly at 5,000 signatories: amazing! It's so pleasing to see this issue really resonate with everyone who enjoys riding a bike in Canberra.

While verbal assurances have been delivered via the ACT Government bureaucracy that the criterium circuit might be safe, we've had no such written assurances from our local politicians.

On October 28 I emailed both ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr and Opposition Leader Alistair Coe drawing attention to the petition and requesting a response from them about the future of the criterium circuit.

Nearly 6 weeks later we have received no response. Lets hope one is forthcoming soon. In the meantime, if you see either of them out and about maybe remind them about the issue!

In the meantime, keep spreading the word. I'll update you again once we have some responses in writing.
