The reason I think we should save the wolverine is because, only one wolverine, also known as Buddy, is in California now. There was a huge population long ago. And we need to restore that population. California is one of the only states with wolverines. And, if we don't save these wolverines, it could be pretty bad. And, don't forget, the US Government (I at least don't think) are not protecting these animals! They should be protecting them, or at least importing more. We need to save these animals from extinction in California.
