Purchasing Circle K Stables is on Burbank City Council's agenda for June 7th. As the date draws near we implore you to email and call city council and express your support in keeping Circle K as a city owned park; run as a horse stable. Attend in person. Let your voice be heard.

There are those of you who have expressed concern in regard to the condition of the property and from conversation with city council we were assured that Burbank maintains and repairs their properties should the city decide to proceed with a purchase. Circle K is a profitable business for the city and has been a community staple since 1984 under the current lease holders.

You can email something like, "I am a Rancho equestrian and I support the city buying 910 S Mariposa for it's continued use as a boarding stable run by the city of Burbank. Burbank residents can benefit from a city park intended for stables and horses. If this location becomes office buildings it endangers all equestrians and residents within the neighborhood. The noise and vibrations from an ongoing construction site near the swinging horse bridge is a disaster waiting to happen. The integrity of the bridge is at risk from vibrations and noises that will spook horses while crossing."

You can also add what Circle K stable means to you, the community and add a personalized message. Attend in person on June 7th most likely around 5pm. Will advise on the time as soon as the agenda is posted.
