Petition to Hulu and the studios behind the Buffy reboot

Fans around the world were excited to hear about a new reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The original series inspired a generation of viewers with its mix of action, humor, and stories about friendship, courage, and standing up against darkness.

When news spread that the reboot would no longer move forward, many fans were disappointed. A new version of Buffy had the potential to introduce the story to a new generation while honoring the legacy of the original series.

We believe the Buffy universe still has so much potential. With the right writers, cast, and creative vision, a reboot or continuation could bring fresh stories, diverse characters, and the same empowering themes that made the original show so loved.

We respectfully ask Hulu and the studios involved to reconsider the cancellation and explore ways to bring the Buffy reboot back into development.

Whether through a reboot, sequel series, or another new project in the Buffy universe, fans would love to see this iconic story continue.
