NYS DOT Information Meeting

Notice of NYS DOT’s Public Informational Meeting Wednesday, November 16th 6:30 to 8PM Saratoga City Music Hall on the 3rd floor City of Saratoga Springs City Hall 474 Broadway, Saratoga Springs We hope you can attend. The presentation will be about the project which currently includes the Crescent Avenue and East High Street bridges over the Northway. While Nelson Avenue is not included, they will be glad to answer any questions at the meeting. Feel free to voice your opinion. The Nelson Ave. Ext bridge is of a type of construction that replacement would be more cost effective than major repairs so replacement is the best option. One of our concerns is that at some future date, the bridge will be deemed unsafe and immediately closed. We want DOT to assure us that this will not happen and to set a timeline for replacement. We are more than willing to work with officials to find the money for replacement. Thank you for your past support in saving the Nelson Ave. Ext. bridge over I-87.
