Masuk High School is planning on straying away from the 1-4/5-8 schedule and re-implementing the 1-8 schedule. However, I have not seen a single student excited, happy, or even content about this change. The current schedule has so many benefits, including but not limited to:

-Extra time to do homework.

-Reduced stress, from reduced daily workload.

-Less worry about time constraints.

-More time spent teaching, leading to more valuable and in-depth classes.

The split schedule is just so beneficial to both teachers and students, that I, along with hundreds of other students, think it should stay. Both me and my friends have better grades in high school than middle school, solely because we didn’t have a 1-8 schedule anymore. Please help save the schedule.
