The Bathurst Pet Ark Rescue Shelter is a voluntary NPO that cares for abused dogs over a period of between 3 to 6 months whilst they are rehabilitated. We submitted our permit application to have more than 2 dogs on a 2 500 sq mtr propery, in February 2023 and after frequent enquiries to the Ndamble municipality we were issused with a by-law violation requiring us to reduce the dog numbers down to 2over over 90 days, 60 days remaining We have letters of support from all our neighbours and residents of Bathurst. The municipality will not retract the violation notice.
