Sit-Out to Save Our Schools (SOSOS)
We are gaining momentum! Our PPS family communities’ vibrant, beautiful, multifaceted efforts to push back against the PPS district’s massive "Rightsizing" proposal are working! But with 14 of our neighborhood schools facing closure, we can’t slow down now.
Just like last Tuesday, Let’s Sit-Out Tomorrow to help Save Our Schools! :)
Format: A Sit-Out. Just like the Sit-In form of nonviolent civil disobedience, but outside in front of our PPS schools.
Where: In front of our school, Buckman Elementary
When: Tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/27 at 8am, at our usual start time – instead of going in at the first bell or tardy bell, we will sit out in front of our schools for roughly 30-45 minutes (but again, kiddos can head in whenever they reach their limit).
Feel free to bring: Signs, Tambourines, Maracas, or Egg Shakers, or other means of making a joyful noise!
