For many years the Cardinals were a mediocre team under the ownership of Bill Bidwill. Bill Bidwill was known for his cheap antics and poorly managed franchise. One possibility for this is the fact that when teams make the playoffs, player shares must increase, par NFL rules. Now that Michael Bidwill has become the owner, not only does he run the team just as poorly as his father, but he is also known for creating a toxic environment. Players and staff around the NFL know not to come to Arizona because of how poorly run it is.

The Arizona Cardinals are the oldest NFL team (founded in 1898) and have a long history of mediocrity under the Bidwills. The only way to restore the team is to force Bidwill to sell and to find an owner that actually cares about the team enough to try to make it successful.
