The age of consent in Pennsylvania was 14 years of age at one point. It was raised to 16 years of age and the law hasn't been touched since 1995. Some believe 16 years of age was chosen due to the fact that 16 year olds could get married with a parents consent. As of 2020 a person has to be 18 years old to get married in Pennsylvania. So I say let's update the law and join the other 11 states. Setting the age of consent at 18 years of age. The government needs to protect our teens with updated laws like they have done with driving, tobacco, and alcohol, in the past.

SHOUT OUT TO THE FOLLOWING 7 SENATORS AND THEIR STAFF. THANK YOU!
