Stop the Inhumane Treatment of Stray Animals in Camiguin.

I am writing this petition with a heavy heart regarding the ongoing mistreatment of stray animals in Camiguin. For far too long, these innocent creatures have been subjected to abuse and poisoning in an effort to control their population, seemingly to prevent incidents like rabies outbreaks and vehicular accidents on our roads.

Despite the tireless efforts of animal rights advocates who have raised their voices against this cruelty for years, the situation remains unchanged. Communication with the appointed authorities has resulted in temporary resolutions that fade away over time, leaving these helpless animals to suffer.

It is disheartening to witness this continual disregard for their lives. They do not deserve such a fate. As a firm believer in justice and compassion, I refuse to turn a blind eye to this ongoing tragedy.

I strongly urge immediate action to address this issue. Instead of resorting to the easy way out of eliminating these animals, let us come together to implement long-term solutions.

Here's our plea: 

Creating shelters, and having food, for strays to be included in spay & neuter programs, get them adopted instead of being poisoined. And more. Lastly offering love and care are essential steps in ensuring the well-being of these creatures who share our world.

My goal with this petition is not just to raise awareness but to reach the right individuals—those who share our values and are willing to champion this cause. It's time for us to stand united in protecting these vulnerable beings and show our commitment to morality and empathy.

I implore you to consider this plea with the utmost urgency and humanity. Together, let us work towards a future where the lives of these animals are valued, cherished, and protected.
