With Deep Gratitude to the St. Stan’s Community

To everyone who signed and shared this petition on this platform, helping demonstrate the deep love and support for St. Stanislaus Kostka Academy within our community — THANKS.

This petition was created by a small group of parents who hoped to bring people together around the love and legacy of St. Stanislaus Kostka Academy and—if possible—make one final good-faith effort together as a community to explore a path forward for St. Stan’s.

The petition was intended as a first step to gather community support and see if there was enough interest to explore possible next steps. If so, the hope was that a thoughtful plan could be developed and presented before any broader efforts moved forward.

The outpouring of support has been a meaningful reminder of how deeply this school is valued by families, alumni, parishioners, and the wider community. We are truly grateful for all of you.

At this time, we will be pausing and closing the petition, and we are thankful for the opportunity it gave many people to come together and show their support for the St. Stan’s community.

We would also like to gently clarify that this petition was created simply as a way to bring the community together and provide a space for people to share their support for St. Stan’s and its legacy. It was intended as a starting point for community conversation and reflection around St. Stan’s and any possible future steps that may emerge for the community.

This petition was not created as a fundraising effort. The organizers did not request or collect donations through this petition or through social media platforms. At times, the Change.org platform may offer supporters the option to contribute to the platform itself to support its services. These requests are made by the platform and are not connected to or directed by the petition organizers.

We are also not affiliated with any outside fundraising efforts that may be circulating online or within the community. We remain grateful for the care, generosity, and love that so many people have shown for St. Stan’s.

For more than 150 years, St. Stan’s has been a place of faith, education, and community for generations of Chicago families. We humbly express our gratitude for the dedicated leadership that has guided St. Stan’s through the years, and we honor the faculty, students, and parents who have walked these halls.

The love and support shown for St. Stan’s is a testament to the lasting impact this school has had on so many lives. The St. Stan’s community will always be part of the story of this special place.

We echo the sentiments shared throughout this petition and remain deeply grateful for the love and support shown for St. Stanislaus Kostka Academy.
