Solent Mead Update – Further Help Needed
Many thanks to all of you who responded to the information about closing Solent Mead Care Home and Day Centre and took the time to sign the petition and write to our MP and local councillors. We have had a reply from our MP, Sir Desmond Swayne and also Cllr Rob Humby who is the Leader of Hampshire County Council, both have asked if we can complete an online consultation form which can be found by selecting the Solent Mead section at

On the first page you will find links to the Consultation Information Pack and several links to the form itself. On the next page is an introduction and at the bottom of the page you should find a link with the word NEXT and once you have clicked on this you’re almost there! The next page has notes and the privacy notice and once you have clicked the NEXT at the bottom of this page you will be on your way!
If you would prefer to have a paper copy of the response form then please call 0370 779 8102 and one will be sent to you.
The closing date for the consultation is 12 November, in a few days, so any responses need to be complete by then!
