Holy Typo! With apologies, our update was not meant to be sent yesterday without final review and edits! (We only realized it was sent when it hit our inboxes this morning) Below is the final version that was supposed to land in your inbox. Thanks for your patience...we are an all volunteer team and doing our best!

Big things are happening! After a year of hard work and more than 12,500 signatures to protect Sledge Forest, it’s time to take our movement to the next level.

On Oct. 6th, we’re bringing our voices straight to the county commissioners—and we want YOU there to make sure they hear us loud and clear (in your green shirt, of course!) Together, we can turn signatures into action and show the power of a united community. RSVP HERE

Summer break is behind us, and the Save Sledge Forest campaign is charging forward with more energy than ever before. Over 12,500 people have already signed our petition to protect this nationally significant forest—and we're not done yet!

While Copper Builders has yet to submit ANY of the many permits, surveys, and other requirements requested by the Planning Department since their Phase One application last spring, our campaign has been anything but quiet. We’ve continued to raise awareness, educate our community, and build a movement too powerful to ignore.

Now it’s time to take the next big step.  RSVP HERE

It's been one year and more than 12,500 signatures since this campaign began, and we believe the moment has come to present those signatures to our county commissioners—and we want that meeting room filled with supporters like YOU.

Mark Your Calendar: Join Us for a Big Day of Action
Together, we’ll rally on the courthouse steps before the meeting, then pack the room inside to make our voices heard. This isn’t just about a petition—it’s about sending a clear message that says:

  • We are united
  • We are determined.
  • And we are not backing down.

This is our moment to show the commissioners - and the media who will be covering the event - that:

Our Voices Matter.   Our Forest Matters.   Our Community Matters.

Please join us on Oct. 6th RSVP HERE
