Dear Supporter,
Please help to defend and protect the small independent businesses against the onslaught of developers by contributing now via: - www.crowdjustice.com/case/savethemarket/
Today on Saturday 17th November 2018 at 9AM, traders of Shepherd’s Bush Market launched their crowdjustice campaign to raise funds to legally protect and defend their livelihoods, and to ensure that the landlord abides and complies with the leases and agreements. Our initial target is to raise £4000 within 30 Days.
The Landlord of Shepherd’s Bush Market, who are developers known as U+I Group Plc. have breached the market traders’ lease terms and agreements.
Since being sold by Transport for London in 2014 to the developers, the 104-year of market has suffered a great deal of uncertainty.
Many of the hard working traders now face the threat of losing their businesses. These small independent establishments, some of which have been passed down through generations, have defined the character of the area, and London now risks losing another much treasured market, further jeopardising part of the city’s rich heritage.
It is the traders hope that this campaign will stretch far and wide across the United Kingdom and beyond. To help us achieve this we invite you to share this plea with family, friends and on social media. Every person’s efforts can make a difference.
Your support is truly appreciated and we would be grateful for any contribution that you may wish to pledge via: -
