3rd July 2018 Dear supporters of the Shepherd’s Bush Market Businesses, A recent licencing application 2018/00539/LAPR for the sale of alcohol within a neighbouring area to Shepherd’s Bush Market, known as the Old Laundry Site Area, was submitted to the Hammersmith & Fulham Council. The Shepherd’s Bush Market Traders and the local residential community are in objection of this licencing application as it is viewed that if passed, the application may cause a large increase in crime and disorder, and an increase in public nuisances in the area. There is additional concern that the application may prove to be detrimental to public safety, with particular concern for the elderly and the very young. A hearing will be held at the Hammersmith & Fulham Council on Wednesday 4th July 2018.
