Update from the Save Shahbad Forest Campaign

We are encouraged to share a positive milestone in the Save Shahbad Forest campaign.
As part of an environmental awareness initiative organized by Hum Log, Sahariya tribal children from Shahbad participated in a two-day educational visit to Kota. Guided by ecologists, forest officials, and environmental experts, they explored the importance of forests, biodiversity, and wildlife through visits to the Kota Biological Park and interactive sessions.
Inspired by the experience, the children pledged to return to their villages and raise awareness about protecting Shahbad Forest, standing for development that respects both nature and local communities.
The initiative and its message have now been featured in leading newspapers, helping bring wider attention to the ecological importance of Shahbad and the voices of the people who depend on it.
Every signature strengthens this movement.
