On 21 June, a massive public rally was organized as part of the Save Shahbad Forest movement. Hundreds of people from Shahbad and surrounding areas came together to raise their voice for the protection of the forest, joining the rally on foot, motorcycles, cars, tractors, and other vehicles.
The rally demonstrated the growing public concern over the proposed project and its potential impact on forests, wildlife, water resources, and the livelihoods of local communities. Citizens from different backgrounds, including youth, farmers, environmentalists, and local residents, participated in large numbers, sending a strong message that Shahbad Forest is not just a piece of land, but an invaluable natural heritage that must be protected for future generations.
The overwhelming participation and support received during the rally further strengthen our collective efforts to safeguard Shahbad Forest and advocate for environmentally responsible alternatives. We thank everyone who joined the movement and continue to stand with us in protecting this unique landscape.
