Bauer Media have just announced that the last remaining local shows on MFR, Northsound 1 and Tay FM will be replaced with a Scotland-wide programme. Since Bauer acquired these stations they have destroyed their localness, axed all the local shows and replaced them with national programmes broadcast from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

This means that Forth 1, MFR, Northsound 1 and Tay FM will now be broadcasting the exact same shows ALL THE TIME.

WE MUST DEMAND THAT BAUER REVERSE THIS DECISION AND KEEP THE STATIONS LOCAL.
