Hi Everyone,

TIME IS RUNNING OUT. PLEASE HELP US SAVE ROOSEVELT by coming to the West Bloomfield Board of Education meeting on Monday, March 18, at 7 pm. The meeting is at West Bloomfield High School in the iCenter (4925 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323).

During this meeting, the school board will vote on asbestos abatement and demolition contracts to start work in APRIL. WE NEED OUR NEIGHBORS FROM WEST BLOOMFIELD and surrounding communities to join us at the meeting.

The Roosevelt Building is structurally sound. Developers have made offers to buy the building, which would bring incremental operating revenue to the district and save taxpayers from funding costly demolition. Even worse, the WBSB is planning to hire a contractor that has multiple recent MIOSHA violations. We are passionate about preserving the building, and even more concerned for the health and safety of our community.

If you are local and able to attend, please come to the West Bloomfield School Board meeting on Monday, March 18th at 7pm. This is one of our last chances to convince the board to SAVE THE ROOSEVELT BUILDING!
