(Important... please read this) It appears there is again a big push for the Rockburn Site. As I am seeing site plans reappear and more talk about the site I feel it maybe time to again push for Elected Officials who haven't spoken out and put in writing their position to get that put out to the public ASAP... We have already seen in writing "our" Councilman Jonathan Weinstein position (which should be all we need as this is his district, but since Councilman Ball is more focused on our district then his own Councilman Weinstein isn't enough) and we have seen in writing from "our" County Executive Allan Kittleman. So this week, starting ASAP lets put the pressure on the other 4 Howard County Council Members and ALL of the BOE Members. I think they feel we have forgotten and our guard has been let down! I am listing them at the end of this message... Lets get started ASAP in getting our emails, phone calls, and messages to them "NO PARKLAND for a HIGH SCHOOL, NO ROCKBURN PARKLAND for a HIGH SCHOOL" LETS MAKE THEM HEAR US THIS TIME!!!!!! Rockburn Park is a very important part of Elkridge’s past, it’s present, and it’s future. Rockburn Park is the last continuous parkland Elkridge has that allows people to come together from not only Howard County but surrounding Counties. Elkridge Residnece as well as people in surrounding areas enjoy Rockburn Park in many ways yet its clear the park is in danger. Please publicly state your postion on taking Rockburn Park for a High School.
