The petition is coming along nicely. We are a little ahead of what I had hoped for by this stage, but we still have a lot of signatures to collect if we are going to stand any realistic chance of success.

That followed The Herald sharing news of it too. I ask that you also share the petition. Please share it on WhatsApp groups and Facebook. We need it on the 'Go Giffnock' Facebook group in particular. If you are in that group, please can you add the link to comments on posts about the issue. If you can persuade the administrator to simply post it, all the better.
In the meantime, let's hope for a strong start to Scotland's World Cup. There is no better feeling than when the underdog wins a campaign.
