**UPDATE** Thanks to the support the petition received, the school has reversed their decision to cancel the parade! A compromise has been reached to rename it a Halloween/Fall promenade. Kids will be given the choice to wear costumes, black and orange, or whatever they typically wear to school. This year they will walk outside around the perimeter of the school property. The community and families will be invited to watch. The anti-oppression committee at the school was consulted and supports the event. THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE'S SUPPORT FOR SAVING THIS TRADITION! I am thrilled with the outcome :)
