On Sunday 28th we are having our Community Beach Walk to help Save Petone Wharf. Join us on the beach in front of the Settlers Museum at 2pm and walk along to the Wharf for a barbecue and some entertainment and a chance to make submissions on Hutt Council's LTP on the spot. If you cannot join the walk, spend the time sending an email to some of our Councillors (find their email addresses on the Council's Web site) to express your dismay at their intention to demolish the Wharf, or by making a submission as below.

Submissions on the Long Term Plan close on 3rd May at 5pm. Please email us at savepetonewharf@gmail.com for templates and where to deliver your submission. This is very important indeed, as numbers really count. Our last Drop-in session is at the Petone Library Meeting Room - 4pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday 1st May. Come for a chat and a cuppa and make a submission there if you haven't already.

Finally, thanks so much to everyone for signing and circulating the petition. We will have to close it off soon. We would love to get to 5,000 on-line signatures!  Please have one more go at getting more friends and whanau to help!
