Our campaign is continuing to make progress.  With more than 4,000 signatures on the online and hard copy petitions, it is clear that there is a strong groundswell of support to keep the wharf.

The next stage is to get as many submissions supporting saving the wharf to the Council as possible over the next two months.  We have arranged informal drop-in sessions about the Long Term Plan, to help people make submissions, each Wednesday during March and April, 4.00pm – 5.30pm at the Petone Library meeting room. Come for a cuppa and a chat and let us help you turn your thoughts into a submission.

There are other issues facing Petone, including the Library itself and the Grandstand at Petone Rec. We are happy to talk about those too.
