Re: Facilitating and expediting the request for family reunification for applicants affected by the earthquake disaster in Turkey

Honorable Prime Minister,

I am writing this letter on behalf of Canadian citizens and permanent residents who have family members living in the earthquake zone in Turkey. These families faced tremendous hardship due to the recent natural disaster and are in dire need of support. Canada can help them.

On February 6th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake took place near the city of Gaziantep, Turkey, and felt across Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus, and Israel.
Estimated to be the largest earthquake in Turkey since 1939, millions of people have been directly affected by this earthquake and are now trying to restore their lives and are seeking hope.

In light of these circumstances, I kindly request to establish a special visa program that allows family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Turkey to reunite with their loved ones in Canada. This would provide them with the necessary support and stability to face the effects of the earthquake.

Furthermore, I kindly request you to expedite the processing of family reunification applications for primary applicants living in the earthquake zone. This would greatly help in the timely reunification of families and provide much needed support in these difficult times.

I understand the importance of maintaining a strict immigration process, but in this case, a humane approach is crucial to helping those in need. The creation of this special visa program and speedy processing of applications will not only bring relief to these families, but also demonstrates Canada's commitment to supporting those affected by natural disasters.
Thank you for your time and your respect.

welcome,

Cc: The Honorable Sean Fraser, Attorney General, Minister for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.

My grandparents and uncles are affected too, they lost home and have no medical aids; medications or food. Please help us bring them to Canada for their safety.
Please pray for Turkey and help us save my family of more than 40 people.

My relatives has no money now since prices for food and water are higher. Please help us bring them here ASAP.

If anyone would like any proof to see their real situation I'm more than happy to show.

Thank you
