UPDATE - please click here change.org/PCCNOrezoning and sign the most current petition.  This petition prevents rezoning the preschool land!  The rezoning was declined, but the potential developers appealed and now city council has the final say.

Please help SAVE the Pasadena Community Church Preschool land (112 70th St. South 33707) and STOP the unnecessary sale of land that has been serving our community since the 1920s.  We can still protect the historical significance of this land, but we must act now!

How It Happened:

At the request of Pasadena Community Church, a consulting/redevelopment firm was brought in to analyze the current use of church spaces and buildings.  This firm designed a way to reform the current LEC (Life Enrichment Center) to rehouse the preschool, so that the land parcel could be sold and developed. PCC held a vote of professing members, PRIOR to fully and sufficiently consulting and meeting with key stakeholders including parents, guardians, teachers, the preschool director, and neighbors.
