It’s the weekend!

It’s the weekend, so it’s time for a break from housing updates until Monday! If we reach 500 or more supporters before then that would be fantastic! 

This weekend I will be keeping a look out for the bats flying around the Leafy Lane Woodland, well that’s if it’s not raining, otherwise it could be  a rain dance,  but after this hot weather nature could do with a drink! 

By the way, has anyone seen these bats? The bats in the Woodland are Soprano Pipstrelle bats, which rely on woodland trees and water i.e the brook to hunt. I wonder where they will live if the trees are removed or the brook diverted?.. I don’t think they would like new build houses much..
