I have been a loyal customer of The Wheatsheaf Pub for many Months. This local pub isn’t just a building; it’s a community hub—a place where friendships have blossomed, stories have been shared, and memories have been created. The pub has been created an integral part of our community in Bedfordshire, serving locals not just as a place for drinks, but as a focal point for gatherings, entertainment, and community support.

Central Bedfordshire Council is planning to close this cherished establishment, without any proper reason, a decision that has devastated the local community.  CBC have granted premises licence , and they have followed everything  in each moment.We must act now to save The Wheatsheaf Pub from being lost forever. The pub is not just a historical site; it’s part of our shared cultural heritage. Demolishing it to make way for new developments neglects the need for spaces that cultivate community bonds and cultural continuity.

Pubs like The Wheatsheaf are essential for providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come together. They contribute to both economic and social well-being.
