Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be protesting the closure of our little library 5.30-7pm ⏰  Please come along ❤️ 📖 🙏 Outside Westdene library, banners optional. Everyone is welcome to join us 

Children from Westdene Primary have been out delivering posters they made to help "Save Westdene library"📣 They posted about 150 through letterboxes to encourage everyone to share their views and try to save this precious community space.

Cllr Alan Robins, Cabinet Member for Sports, Recreation & Libraries and Ceris Howard, Head of Library and Customer will also be at Westdene Primary School holding an in person consultation with the community. There will be a short presentation about the proposals for libraries and a question and answer session.

This crucial meeting will be our best chance to make it clear to the council we will not accept library closures. Please tell your family, friends and neighbours 🏡
