We’re back to thank you all for your support and dedication to protecting Uptown Whittier’s historic beauty. Thanks to you, we can still walk through Uptown under the shade of our beautiful ficus trees. 

The fight is still ongoing and updates are soon to come so please keep checking our Instagram and website linked in bio. Our petition to save the trees has surpassed 6,000 signatures and continues to grow. The community is the reason our beloved trees are still standing and we cannot thank you all enough for that! 

We invite you to enjoy Uptown Whittier’s beautiful environment with friends and family at the 70th annual Christmas parade on December 14th @ 10am. Join us on Greenleaf Ave to enjoy the atmosphere, support our activism, and spend time under trees we’ve all fought so hard to keep.
